Oping Te files candidacy; Maboloc, Pe Benito, Oberez, Dumogho, Zapanta also file as kagawads

Rodolfo "Oping" Te filed his certificate of candidacy today. Members of his group, Ryan Maboloc, Rene Pe Benito, Junex Oberez, Bong Dumogho, and Munding Zapanta also filed their COCs. "It is important that we give to the people what they deserve", this is the gist of the Oping Te's Group's message to all voters. COMELEC records show that Gene Madrio, Toto Estoce, and Lolito Sucayre have also filed their respective COCs. It will be a four-cornered fight come October 25 for Punong Barangay. Six incumbent kagawads are running this October. Maboloc and Oberez are former kagawads while Dumogho is a newcomer who will vie for slots . Official campaign will start this Thursday, October 14.

Oping's line up: Oberez, Pebenito, Maboloc, Zapanta, Dumogho, Mulat

Rodolfo "Oping" Te has finalized his line up. They are Rene Pe Benito, Junex Oberez, Ryan Maboloc, Munding Zapanta, Bong Dumogho, and Minu Mulat. Pe Benito is an incumbent barangay councilor together with Munding Zapanta. Oberez and Maboloc are former barangay councilors. Bong Dumogho is a youth leader while Minu Mulat is a businessman. The group's battle-cry is good governance. In flesh, this means 24 impact projects from the BDF and scholarships for the youth. The campaign period will begin on October 14. Election day will be on October 25. Te will face incumbent Gene Madrio, Toto Estoce and Boy Sucayre for the Punong Barangay position.

Maboloc: Bring back the youth's old glory

In a meeting attended by youth representatives from the different sitios of Barangay Daliao, the newly-formed Daliao Youth Coalition led by Ryan Maboloc, Munding Zapanta, and Bong Dumogho, were one in saying the youth must re-take its old glory. "We must bring back the youth's old glory", said Maboloc during the meeting which was attended also by Rodolfo "Oping" Te, Junex Oberez, and Rene Pe Benito. The meeting identified the concerns of the youth, including sports development, educational support and scholarships, and worthwhile socio-cultural activities to unite the youth of Barangay Daliao. Larry Lim of Sitio San Roque voiced out the concern to sustain the group. Jose Seguerra of Sitio Kalubin-an also expressed the need to support the plans of the group. Te promised that part of his agenda is youth development and that he will use government resources to support youth programs.
