2012 BDF Projects Implemented

The Barangay Council, through the Committee on Infrastructure, has successfully implemented Barangay Development Fund projects for 2012. The projects include line canal at Sitio DUHA and San Vicente, road concreting at Sitio St. Jude, water system at Sitio Pogi-lawis, and line canal at Sitio Prudential. The total worth of the projects is 800,000 pesos which was taken from the 2012 Annual Budget. The projects are in line with the barangay's trust of improving the physical infrastructure of the barangay for the benefit of the public.

4th TECH-VOC Training begins

The fourth batch of the Tech-Voc Training Program in Barangay Daliao, in coordination with the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority, started last September 1, 2012. According to Kgd. Ryan Maboloc, 42 students enrolled in consumer electronics while 60 enrolled in metal arc welding, the purpose of which is to help our barangay constituents gain knowledge and skills for employment. The trainings are held every weekend and is supervised by Engr. Joseph Dumugho. The training will be for four months or 40 hours for welding and 80 hours for electronics. Mr. Teodoro Espera and Mr. Jerson Beduya are the instructors. Funding for the year-long program is 75,000.00, as per information gathered from the Barangay Council. Around 200 students have availed of this free tech-voc education project, one of the vital programs of PB Rodolfo B. Te's administration.
