9.02 million Annual Budget approved

The Sangguniang Barangay has approved its Annual Budget for 2014 in the amount of 9.02 million pesos during its regular session last November 3, 2013. PB Oping Te has announced that the fund will be used to pursue his human development agenda, with funds allocated for the improvement of Day Care centers, technical education, gender and development, livelihood, peace and order, health and social services, water systems, among others. The fund allocates 55% for personal services, 20% for the BDF, 10% for MOOE, 10% for the SK, and 5% for calamity. The SK fund amounting to almost a million will await the directive from the government.

1.805 million BDF for 2014 approved

The Sangguniang Barangay has approved the 1.805 million Barangay Development Fund during the regular session last November 3, 2013. According to Kgd. Junnex Oberez, projects include allocation for Day Care centers, water systems, drainage systems, concreting of approaches and roads, among others. Priority sitios include Dona Rosa, San Roque, FESA-Proper A, Rovical, Prudential, DUHA, Pogi-lawis, St. Michael and San Jose. PB Oping Te announced during the session that the improvement of Day Care centers will be his priority, with five centers getting almost half of the BDF. The Barangay has also approved its supplemental budget for 2013 which has allocated funds for the acquisition of equipment for the two Barangay Health Centers.

TECH-VOC to be institutionalized in Barangay Daliao

The Community-based Technical Vocational Training Program in Barangay Daliao will be institutionalized in order to gain National Competency II accreditation from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, according to Kgd. Ryan Maboloc, one of the founders of the program, as per advice by TESDA Director Nestor S. Tabada. Engr. Bong Dumugho, kagawad-elect and training supervisor, will attend an orientation at TESDA to commence the process of accreditation. The Barangay Council has also allocated 300,000 pesos for the purchase of a transformer, which is necessary for the welding classes. Trainings are free of charge for Barangay Daliao residents. For 2014, Electrical Installation and Maintenance will also be introduced. The Program will constitute two levels, NC I and NC II. INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF DALIAO

Republic of the Philippines City of Davao Barangay of Daliao  SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE  SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF DALIAO   WHEREAS, the foregoing Sangguniang Barangay Internal Rules of Procedure are necessary in order to govern the orderly conduct of the members of the Sangguniang Barangay;  WHEREAS, the promulgation of these rules are imperative in the efficient discharge of the powers, duties, and functions of the members of the Sangguniang Barangay, pursuant to the pertinent provisions as found therein in the Local Government Code of 1991 (RA 7160).  NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kgd. Christopher Ryan Maboloc, duly seconded by Kgd. PB Oping Te re-elected

Punong Barangay Rodolfo Te was re-elected by overwhelming vote during the recent October 28, 2013 Barangay Elections. PB Te garnered votes of 5,116 against Noel Tega's 3,044. Mayor Rodrigo Duterte endorsed Team Oping Te during their visit at City Hall. Six members of Team Oping Te also made it. Re-elected were Kgd. Rene Pe Benito, Kgd. Genaro Oberez, Kgd. Rodel Granada, and Kgd. Ryan Maboloc. Engr. Bong Dumugho and Mr. Anthony Mulat also won during the election. Kgd. Susan Tega placed seventh during the election. The 16th Barangay Council will hold its inaugural session this coming December 1, 2013. The internal rules of procedure have been drafted by Kgd. Maboloc and will be presented for adoption during the first session. During the executive session of the Council's majority, committee chairmanships will also be assigned on the same day, with Kgd.
