Davao Food Terminal soon to Open

The Davao Food Terminal, also known as the Agri-Pinoy Trading Center, will soon open in Barangay Daliao, Toril, Davao City. In a visit to the facility by Kgd. Christopher Ryan Maboloc, chair of the Committee on Agriculture of the Sangguniang Barangay of Daliao, he was informed that the facility will become the "bagsakan center" for fruits and vegetables in Davao City. The sprawling government-owned establishment is five (5) hectares, and boasts of market stalls for vendors, conveyors for fruit and vegetable washing and sorting, dormitories for farmers, offices and wide parking spaces. The project, initiated by the Department of Agriculture, was supported by former Rep. Isidro Ungab who secured the appropriation for the project and Mayor Sara Duterte who led the implementation of the project through the City Engineer's Office. The facility is expected to open in May 2018.
