Big prizes are at stake in the first Barangay Daliao Agri-Fisheries Fair this coming April 29, 2012 on the occasion of the 84th Araw ng Barangay. For the Best Fishery Product, the first prize is 3,000, second prize is 2,000 and third prize is 1,000. For the Best Urban Garden, the first prize is 3,000, second prize is 2,000 and third prize is 1,000. The criteria for the Best Fishery Product are packaging, nutritional value, creativity and marketability. For the Best Urban Garden, the criteria are the use of recyclables, variety of vegetables, innovation and creativity. The City Agriculturist Office, Toril District will judge the event. The BFARMC in Daliao headed by Mr. Jesus Gioca, together with Mr. Lino Rosales and Mr. Teody Espera will compose the Committee. Kagawad Ryan Maboloc is the Chair for the 2012 Agri-Fair.
