Daliao Small Fishermen Livelihood Association now registered with SEC

The Daliao Small Fishermen Livelihood Association is now registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. This was the report of Kgd. Ryan Maboloc during the second regular session of the Sangguniang Barangay held last January 5, 2014. In addition, he also informed that the association, which consists of members and officers of the BFARMC, Fish Warden and Bantay Dagat, will also be registered as a cooperative to avail of livelihood assistance from the government. The aim, he mentioned, is to help improve the income of poor fisherfolks. The plan was finalized during the BFARMC meeting held last December 30, 2014, which was attended by Kgd. Bong Dumogho, Kgd. Maboloc, BFARMC pointman Manoling Seguerra and TechVoc supervisor Ariel Rubia.

BDF Projects to be implemented

The Sangguniang Barangay has identified projects that will be implemented through the Barangay Development Fund. The projects include the completion of road at San Vicente St., water system at Sitio Rovical and Pogi-Lawis, drainage improvement at Fish Port Avenue (Acosta clinic side), road entrances at San Roque and St. Michael, and the repair of Day Care and Project Hope Centers. The total cost of these infrastructure projects is 1.4 million pesos.
