My Barangay Daliao

The new Barangay Hall of Daliao, built with a budget of 5 million through the initiative of Rep. Isidro Ungab, will be inaugurated this coming November 28, 2014, as per announcement by PB Rodolfo B. Te during the flag raising ceremony last November 17, 2014. The new building will house the Office of the Punong Barangay, Lupon Tagapamayapa Mediation Center, Women's Concerns Room, Barangay Councilors' Lounge, and the Barangay Services Line Offices.

Barangay Daliao has successfully held the First Panagat Festival from October 25-28, 2014. The event included the Bancathon 2014, Basketball Tournament, HB1 Outreach, Reyna ng Panagat, Pasundayag, Sugba-sugba sa Barangay, and Grand Parade. PB Rodolfo Te was happy with the participation of Barangay constitutents, especially those who come from the fisherfolk sector. The event celebrates the rich tradition and history of Barangay Daliao as a fishing community, beginning in the 60's.
