The group of Rodolfo 'Oping' Te, Punong Barangay-elect, and his kagawads, Rene Pe Benito, Junnex Oberez, Ryan Maboloc, Munding Zapanta, and Rodel Granada hope to chart their masterplan in the days ahead. Te won by a landslide in the October 25, 2010 barangay elections.
The group has committed itself to the equitable distribution of barangay resources, and will focus primarily on human development.
They intend to provide funds for technical education and scholarships, medicines, the rehabilitation of barangay roads and drainage, sports and physical development, and livelihood programs.
Plans include a first-ever job fair in the barangay, and making the senior citizens and women sectors active, including increasing the beneficiaries of 4Ps.
Right now, the Punong Barangay-elect is focused on the reorganization of barangay functionaries and the inventories of existing barangay funds and equipment, including projects due for implementation.
